Each school year Volunteer Service Hour Positions are available for 25 Service Hour credit when a commitment is made for the school year.
A parent is needed to chair a small committee to review and update Emergency Professional Personnel, Disaster preparedness Plan and Supplies. 25 Service Hours will be given for this commitment.
Parents are needed from 11:55 – 12:35p.m.
To assist with student / yard supervision Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. One Service Hour – for each day worked.
For rainy days and when extra supervision is needed. (1-hour credit given per day) Please contact the school office 367-5886 to be placed on our phone list.
For each grade, 25 hours given for a One Year Commitment. If you are interested in being considered for HEAD ROOM PARENT please check the appropriate box and grade on the BOTTOM of the Parent Volunteer form.
A parent is needed from 9:55 to 10:25 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to sell snacks.

We will need parent volunteers to assist with a.m. day care from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. One service hour per shift worked. Please contact the school office 367-5886
Parent volunteers are needed to assist with P.M. day care. We will also need several adults to be on call to help assist with day care needs from 2:55 to 5:30 p.m. Up to Three service hours are available per shift worked. Please contact the school office 367-5886

Over seeing collection of orders and distribution of candy and prizes (usually in February).
25 hours of service for attending all Parent Board meetings. The PAB meeting is a place to gather information and to discuss what is going in the school for the past month, future months. Other topics in discussion could be: vote on a new fundraiser initiative, how to spend the PAB monies given and collected via fundraising, and any concerns or issues that may have been raised by the parents via the PAB representatives.
25 hours – will be given for coaching Girs/Boys after school sports. Fingerprinting, Virtus and Coaches Training is required
25 hours of service for coordinating events such as Harvest Festival, Jogathon, Book Fair, etc.
25 hours of service for coordinating the yard duty schedule, sending reminders to parents and making sure that we have coverage on a regular basis.
When specific items are requested, it is important that you bring only the items asked for; we can not give service hours for items that are not requested.
You may purchase items requested in the newsletter for another class, other than the one your child is in. Credit will be given at the rate of approximately $10.00 per hour.
St. Didacus is responsible for assigning all credit for supplies. You must submit your receipt / or copy with your donation in order to receive proper credit. Please write your last name and family # on the top or bottom of your receipt.
